The "Stoanernes Bankerl-Weg" starts at the boat landing stage. It takes you along the long-distance hiking trail 810A (10) Inn down to the mouth of the Pram and along the Pramtal cycle path R21 to the Otterbacher bridge.
In the direction of Otterbach, past the Otterbacher Landesgut, you walk along the road and through an idyllic forest path for approx. 1.5 km uphill to the "Stoaneren Bankerl" and a particularly beautiful mighty oak tree with a wayside shrine. From there you have a wonderful view of the baroque town of Schärding and neighbouring Bavaria, and in good weather you can also see the Alpine chain such as the Dachstein, Watzmann, Tennengebirge and Berchtesgadener Land. Afterwards, the trail leads you briefly back down via the settlement road to the Otterbach estate. Now follow the familiar path accompanied by the Pram and Inn rivers back to the starting point. Please get in touch for more information.
