Biohof Mitterfellner - Früwirth family

We have a small farm and breed Mangaliza as a sideline. In addition to fresh mangalitsa meat, we also have bacon, lardo and spreads.

The Mangaliza is a breed of fat pig. It can live outdoors all year round. The thick, snow-white bacon of Mangalitsa pigs is characteristic of this rare breed of pig. The fat, or rather the bacon, is considered to be of particularly high quality and makes the meat a special flavour experience. The meat is darker in colour than conventional pork, particularly tender, juicy and well marbled.
