Cheerful sounds of well-known melodies resound over Linz's Hauptplatz three times a day. They come from the carillon, which is located in the middle of the façade extension of the Feichtiger House. The sound system consisting of 19 bells, donated by the Kiwanis Club, plays works by Upper Austrian composers and seasonal pieces of music for about 4 minutes each day. The carillon also gives its name to the café in the building.
The melodies ring out at 11:03 a.m., 2:03 p.m. and 5:03 p.m.
