VILU's main product is the double-layered aluminium seat cushion finished with an all-round ribbed or woven band.

The brand name VILU refers to the Finnish north, where people like to sit outside even during the long and cold winter, for ice fishing or picnics.

The Finnish word VILU roughly means (inner) shiver of cold, shivering - having it just cold enough that you notice it, but you only realise the cold feeling afterwards, when the cold, the bladder infection and the usual superfluous stuff comes on and paralyses you.

All VILU products are handmade - in Engelhartszell, under fair conditions
