Hauptstraße Urfahr

Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich

Hauptstraße is a street in the Upper Austrian capital of Linz. It runs from the Nibelungenbrücke bridge in the Urfahr district to Freistädter Straße and is the central shopping street in Urfahr.

The approximately 600 metre long road runs in a north-north-westerly direction from the Nibelungenbrücke bridge to Freistädter Straße. In the area between Hinsenkampplatz and the bend (this is the junction with Kaarstraße), Hauptstraße is a one-way street heading out of town. The road is used by tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4 and the Pöstlingbergbahn from Nibelungenbrücke to the bend, and also by bus lines 33, 38 and 102 between Hinsenkampplatz and Freistädterstraße, whereby there are two tram stops and three bus stops along Hauptstraße (Rudolfstraße, Biegung and Knabenseminarstraße, the latter is only a bus stop).
