Biohof Pfeneberger from the Kuonen family
Christa and David Kuonen were allowed to take over the farm and decided to continue running it as their main occupation. They switched from conventional cattle farming to organic sheep's milk production and lamb fattening. A year before handing over the farm, the two began rearing over 100 Lacaune lambs, which were purchased from farmers in Lower Austria at the age of 10 days. The Lacaune sheep breed is a dual-purpose breed and originally comes from the south of France.
