Since 2014, the MEMPHIS art space in Linz has been offering local and international artists, theorists, authors, filmmakers, curators and the public a forum for communicating and critically examining contemporary culture in various exhibition, performance and project formats.

Memphis is an independent platform operating as an art association.

The exhibition programme as well as projects in cooperation with partner institutions are strongly characterised by international networking, a lively concept of contemporary art and a transdisciplinary approach to divergent social, political and economic conditions.
