The church stands in the middle of the park and is like an oasis to which everyone has access. The main gate is dedicated to Saint Quirinus.
On the north side, the St Francis portal points towards the water forest and picks up on the theme of responsibility for creation. The gate in the south, dedicated to St Wilbirg, is directly connected to St Florian's Abbey.
