DurchReise combines the love of travelling and a feeling for trends in interior design and lifestyle.

It all began with a great passion: for travel, for exceptional taste - and for a wonderful friendship. Elke and Gerda, the founders of DurchReise, regularly traveled with their families and discovered unique products, small works of art and real favorites at markets around the world.

With each trip, the desire to share these special finds with others grew. What was originally planned as a small pop-up store in Linz quickly developed into something much bigger. A few days turned into weeks, weeks into months - and finally a lovingly managed store was created in the heart of Linz: Die DurchReise.

For five years, Elke and Gerda brought international treasures to Linz with a lot of passion, taste and a flair for the extraordinary. At the beginning of 2024, full of gratitude, I was allowed to take over the store on Graben. I am proud and happy to be able to continue this place of the heart - with the same standards of quality, style and authenticity that Elke and Gerda have lived from the very beginning. Thank you, dear Elke. Thank you, dear Gerda.

Today: Proven concept, lovingly expanded

Even after the takeover, the proven concept remains the same: A carefully curated range with high-quality, hand-picked products from all over the world. Many of the well-known brands and favorite pieces are still part of the store - supplemented by new, special treasures that I enjoy selecting.
