The Moarfelsen viewing station, hidden away on a rocky ridge in the forest, can be reached after a 10-minute hike along a meadow and forest path in snow-free weather. From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Engelszell Abbey, the only Trappist monastery in Austria. The rococo-style church tower of the monastery rises almost 80 metres into the air and seems close enough to touch. The secluded spot directly on the steep Danube leithen promises peaceful moments and a short break from everyday life.
