Maerz artists' association

Since its foundation in 1913, the MAERZ Artists' Association has been subject to a program aimed at avoiding provincial narrowness and looking outwards.

Committed to a contemporary, open art discourse, the permanent supra-regional communication was and is a key focus alongside the presentation of the current artistic work of its own members. The artists' association, which is characterized by its diversity of disciplines, sees itself as a place of exchange and dialogue as well as an unconventional meeting place for artistic positions.
