Wenzl Privatbräu

Wenzl, the beer brewed by Kieslinger Hans - honestly brewed in Wernstein am Inn.

Hans Kieslinger was a brewer from a young age at the former Kapsreiter brewery in Schärding. Over this long period, he learnt what makes a good brewer and how beer should taste.

With this knowledge and a great deal of commitment, he set up his own small brewery at home in Wernstein am Inn in autumn 2015 - the Wenzl Privatbräu, in keeping with the farm's name Wenzl.

Wenzl Privatbräu brews 2 special brews:
Stammtisch Hopfen Alk. 5.5 % vol.
The naturally cloudy beer has a quick, tart finish with a pleasant hop flavour.
The bottom-fermented beer is gently carbonated and has a fresh, fragrant flavour.

Wirtshaus Helle Alk. 5.5 % vol.
This full-bodied, bottom-fermented beer has a slightly malty sweetness and a fine yeast flavour.
It is natural, refreshing in flavour and has a fine-pored head.

Stammtisch Hopfen and Wirtshaus Helle are available in stylish 0.75 litre bottles. bottles, individually or in handmade wooden carriers, by the barrel for private parties and, of course, in large containers for pubs.

The uniqueness of the brewery lies in its craft brewing and open primary fermentation.
