Pfarrkirche Pühret

Neustift im Mühlkreis, Oberösterreich, Österreich

A warm welcome to the parish of Rannariedl

The pastors who are there for you are: Mr. Markus Rubasch as parish moderator and Franz Schlagitweit as parish assistant.

Mr. Markus is available for your concerns after the Sunday services. Deacon Schlagitweit is available every Friday from 8.00 to 11.00 in the parish office and in urgent cases at any time privately.

Our parish is made up of twelve villages in the municipality of Neustift i.Mk and bears the name of the old castle Rannariedl on the Danube, where the original parish seat was located. The center of the parish with the parish church is now located in the village of Pühret.

The parish church was built after 1948 and consecrated in 1953. The historicizing, five-bay building with a southern, three-bay side aisle has a recessed choir, arched windows and a stone towerwith a tent roof. Inside there is a group of figures of the Holy Trinity from around 1950.
