Mountain bike tours - Hausruck-Nord region (through the municipalities of Eschenau i.H., Natternbach, Neukirchen a.W., St.Agatha, Peuerbach and Waldkirchen am Wesen The Hausruck Nord region is located south of the Schlögener Schlinge and forms - visually speaking - a landscape basin that stretches across the northernmost 12 municipalities of the Grieskirchen district.

The landscape is characterised by the foothills of the Bohemian granite massif with numerous ridges, rivers and streams. The mountain bike routes lead through the northern six municipalities (Natternbach, Neukirchen a.W., Eschenau i.H., St.Agatha, Peuerbach and Waldkirchen am Wesen) of this region. The routes are mostly off-road, alternating between uphill and downhill, through the valleys and over the ridges of the Hausruck Nord region.

The charming, wooded landscape offers many beautiful viewpoints and sights (Valley of the Seven Mills, Hengstberg view, Koaserin nature reserve, Hammerschmiede, Vierviertelblick, Paschinger Hügl). The region is an insider tip for sporty, nature-loving individual holidaymakers and families.
