"forum metall" refers to sculptures by national and international artists in Linz's Donaupark.

The forum metal was founded in 1977 by Helmuth Gsöllpointner and Peter Baum. The aim was to combine art and industry and to point out the role of Linz as an industrial location as well as an emerging art metropolis.

Internationally known artists such as Herbert Bayer, Max Bill, David Rabinowitch and others have created large-scale sculptures for the Linz Donaupark. Thus, in the midst of the publicly accessible Linz Donaupark, an incomparable open-air ensemble of modern art emerged.
