Pfarrkirche zur Hl. Theresia
Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The parish church of St. Theresa fascinates with an impressive architecture.
Built according to plans by Rudolf Schwarz the parish church of St. Theresa was built during the years 1959 to 1962. It is regarded as an international milestone in church building.
The basement of the main church is a 48 m long and 16 m wide ellipse. The room height is about 20 m. The clever architectural treatment with the strong stipulations of an elliptical shape and the sensitive perception of their freedoms are optimally realized on this structure.
