Our beautiful marketplace has a special place in history. About 400 years ago our farmers started a revolution. Life was not very good. It was about the time of the religious wars. Initially the farmers had some successes, but the emperor called upon his relatives in Bavaria to send some soldiers. The farmers were no match for those 12.000 soldiers.
They lost very quickly and life became even worse. Now they also had to feed those soldiers.
