Modern logistics hub and historic city

The “Ennshafen” (Port of Enns), 30 km away from Linz, is a modern service centre for the shipping industry and is located on the estuary of Enns and Danube. The shipping pier is located directly at the port and has a good ship infrastructure with direct bus access. A Danube ferry is connecting Enns with Mauthausen.
The “Ennshafen” is close (about 4 km) to the city Enns – a “little historic city” with a long history. Witnesses are the medieval old town and the city tower as well as numerous buildings and excavations full of history. The Roman-focused museum "Lauriacum" shows one of the most important Roman collections in Austria - prehistory, urban history, sacred art, folklore and art collection.
