Hubertuskapelle

Andorf, Oberösterreich, Österreich
  • Suitable for groups

In 1974 the hunting community of Andorf built a modern Hubertus chapel at the north-eastern forest’s edge of the “Kirchberg”.
The architectural design comes from Prof. Franz Xaver Wirth, who also made the relief of the Hubertus legend. The construction of the building was executed by Ing. Karl Ornetsmüller. The initiator of the chapel was the former treasurer Johann Weidenholzer. On 15 December 1974 the former dean Gottfried Mayr consecrated the chapel in the presence of the entire hunting association.
