Well worth seeing late gothic winged altar
The branch church “Filialkirche Pesenbach” is a three-aisled pillar basilica with cross-ribbed vaults from the second half of the 15th century.
The pilgrimage church is dedicated to St. Leonhard. It is especially known for its gothic winged altar, the Altar of St. Leonhard and the Altar of Mary. Additionally, the organ and the carved wooden, simple framed crucifix are worth a visit. The Madonna of Pesenbach was stolen in 1963.
The excellence acoustic is perfect for sacral concerts.
