St Martin's Church

The church of the parish Linz-St. Martin am Römerberg (former parish Linz-St. Matthias) is one of the oldest churches in Austria.

Inside you will find exposed Roman inscription stones and a Roman furnace. The copy of the “Volto Santo” picture, which originated in Lucca (Italy), is also famous.

The Martinskirche is a popular baptismal and wedding church with 85 seats in the church.

Wed 9 am-11 am, Fri and Sun 2 pm- 4 pm. Otherwise, the interior can only be visited with a guide. A view into the church is possible at any time through a glass door.
