Kulturtreff und Musikschule Alkoven

The KULTURTREFF. ALKOVEN is located in the Mayrhof of Hartheim Castle.

Since 2003, the beautiful ambience of Hartheim Castle has been home to a state-of-the-art event hall.
Where there used to be a brewery and stables in the 17th century, there is now room for 225 people at ground level and 69 people in the gallery. The hall can seat 220 people at table, utilising the stage area.

The stage area is 9 metres wide, 3.5 to 6.5 metres deep and 5 metres high. The media projector, DVD, VHS, mini disc, CD and cassette can be used, and a computer signal can be fed in. Sophisticated sound and lighting systems are available. More than 80 free parking spaces, level access, a lift and disabled toilets are just some of the features that enhance this venue.

family celebrations, fashion shows, anniversaries, ...

The building also houses the Alkoven music school with seven classrooms. The following instruments are taught: Recorder, flute, clarinet, tenor horn, tuba, trumpet, trombone, piano, accordion, concertina, violin, guitar and solo singing.

There is ample free parking and wheelchair access, and a disabled toilet is available.

The first event at the KULTURTREFF. was the opening of the special exhibition of the province of Upper Austria "The Value of Life" on 7 May 2003. In the meantime, several events have been held and the cultural hall was also available for the last Citizens' Day. The sound and lighting system meets modern standards and there is also a projector for multimedia applications.
