Very close to the state capital of Linz, in Steyregg—and more specifically in Pulgarn—lies Lake Salm. With a surface area of 85,000 square meters, it finally emerged from obscurity in 1998 when it hosted the European Water Ski Championships.Visits to Lake Salmsee are by appointment only.
