Bathing lake facility with 3.5 hectares of water, jetty with three access points to the bathing lake, beach volleyball court, wakeboard and water ski lift, vitality and fitness park, children's slide and sandboxes for our little ones, large sunbathing lawn, promenade path around the entire recreational area and fishing opportunities.
Further facilities, such as barrier-free access with non-slip mats and railings, a viewing platform, WC facilities, changing rooms and a shower are also available.

The Waldhausen bathing lake offers the best water quality at pleasant water temperatures.

The fishing season at the Waldhausen bathing lake begins on 1 May and ends on 15 October. May and ends on 15 October.

We would like to point out that fishing is only permitted with a valid fishing licence, annual fishing licence and fishing day or season ticket. Increased checks are being carried out by the fisheries protection bodies of the provincial fishing association.

The Waldhausen bathing lake offers ideal conditions for ice skating or curling in the winter months (weather permitting).

- Leave the motorway in Amstetten (exit West)
- Continue towards Grein (19 KM)
- Continue towards Sarmingstein (7 KM)
- In Sarmingstein turn left towards Waldhausen (8 KM)

Journey by car on the A1 from Vienna:
- leave motorway in Ybbs
- continue through Ybbs towards Grein (22 KM)
- in Sarmingstein turn right towards Waldhausen (8 KM)

Travel by train:
Westbahnhof to St. Valentin, change to the Donauuferbahn
West station to Amstetten, change to the bus in the direction of Grein, Waldhausen, Dorfstetten
