School and nature
Linz Zoo is home to more than 600 animals. The zoo can be reached easily by taking the Pöstlingbergbahn, which stops directly at the zoo. Pupils can also explore the local and exotic animal world on guided tours.

Mothers don't have it easy - that much is already clear! Or is that not true at all? We want to dedicate this exciting tour to all animal mothers and take a closer look at their role in raising their young.
Animal fathers
On this interesting tour through Linz Zoo you will learn a lot about the most diverse animal fathers, who sometimes take excellent care of their little ones, sometimes just helpful, but sometimes not at all.
Tip: The two tours of the animal mothers and fathers are most exciting in spring or early summer, when there are lots of young animals to see!
