Nestled in an incomparably beautiful natural landscape, directly on the Danube, between the episcopal city of Passau and the Upper Austrian capital of Linz, the SCHÜTZ Art Museum forms an architectural counterpoint to the Engelszell Trappist monastery as a new home for exhibits by the most important representatives of classical modernism.
