Nestled in an incomparably beautiful natural landscape, directly on the Danube, between the episcopal city of Passau and the Upper Austrian capital of Linz, the SCHÜTZ Art Museum forms an architectural counterpoint to the Engelszell Trappist monastery as a new home for exhibits by the most important representatives of classical modernism.

Works of art from the 19th century, Art Nouveau, classical modernism, avant-garde, expressionism and contemporary art are presented in a unique architectural setting.
Enter into a personal dialogue with international "Artists in Residence", enjoy culinary delights in the Schütz Art Café, purchase works of art and original souvenirs in the museum shop or simply relax in the museum garden.
