Bruckner Organ in the Old Cathedral

The Ignatius Church is famous for its historic Bruckner organ. The Old Cathedral was Anton Bruckner's second station as a full-time organist. The instrument, which was modified according to his wishes at the time, still sounds as it did in Bruckner's days. That makes the organ so unique.

Special organ tours and short concerts are offered. Look forward to a special kind of sound experience on the historic Bruckner organ.

Tip: Under the title "Linz Organ Summer", an organ concert is held in Linz every Thursday in July and August.
The concert venues of the Old Cathedral and the New Cathedral change weekly, thus guaranteeing friends of organ music a continuous concert experience on the two most impressive organs in Linz.
