Guided tour of the brewery Linz Beer

Linz beer belongs to the city. For 145 years, "Linzer Bier" was brewed in Upper Austria's capital. We are proud of this tradition and origin. Based on the historic recipe from the old Poschacher brewery, we revive the beer style of yesteryear.

There was already a brewery in Linz in 1836 and "Linzer Bier" was brewed there until 1981. Now, almost 40 years later, the Linzer Bier brand is being revived and is getting its own brewery right in the centre of Linz.

On the guided tours of the Linz Brewery you will immerse yourself in the history of the Linz Beer brand and Linz as a brewing city. The past of the tobacco factory and the listed former power plant are also part of the tour. In addition, on the tour of the brewery you will gain exclusive insight into the brewing process and learn all about the regional raw materials used for Linz beer. The tour ends with a tasting of the various Linz beers.

Group tours by appointment only (at least 2 working days in advance).
Possible from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00, 13:00 to 15:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.
Group size: 8 to 25 people
A maximum of two groups can book a tour at the same time.
