Day 1 - Individual arrival in Passau
Arrival with the family for your cycling vacation on the Danube Cycle Path. Check into your room and hand over your cycle tour documents. The rental bikes are handed over at the Passau bike rental point. Start your family cycle tour on the Danube Cycle Path with a stroll through Passau. Day 2 - From Passau to Niederranna/surroundings, approx. 15 km
The Danube boat takes you to the starting point of the first cycle tour. From Kasten you finally start pedaling! After just a few kilometers, the Danube mermaid Isa greets cyclists of all ages. Day 3 - From Niederranna/surroundings to Obermühl, approx. 20 km
You will soon reach the Schlögener Schlinge on the Danube cycle path in Upper Austria. Here, the Danube has carved its way through the hard granite rock in an S-loop over thousands of years. Day 4 - From Obermühl to Aschach, approx. 20 km
As soon as you leave the Upper Danube Valley behind you, the fertile Eferding Basin spreads out before you. Fruit and vegetable fields line the cycle path in Austria. Day 5 - From Aschach to Linz, approx. 20 km
You cycle leisurely along the south bank of the Danube cycle path to the power station in Ottensheim, where you cross the river. From Ottensheim you continue your journey by train to Linz.
