Shoe collection with history

A tour around the shoe museum is like travelling through time. Not just for shoe lovers, but for anyone interested in fashion, history and handcraft.

The shoe museum houses an extensive collection of shoes from different cultures and time periods. From simple, functional models to artful, extravagant creations. Each exhibit tells a story about the people who wore them and the fashion that prevailed at the time.

The creativity and diversity of shoe fashion are celebrated here. The collection is also enriched by antique leather objects and various machines and tools.

Guided tours are available for individuals/couples but also for groups (max. 15 people).

Bookable for the follwoing times:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2. p.m. - last tour possible at 5 p.m.
Guided tours on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - last tour possible at 3 p.m.
Guided tours outside opening hours on request.

Tip: In the workshop ‘What you always wanted to know about shoes’, participants immerse themselves in the world of shoe history and craftsmanship. They will also receive professional tips on shoe care, which they can use to make their own shoes shine.
