Exploring the forest didactically & group-dynamically

The WaldEntdeckerWelt in the Innviertel region of Upper Austria is the ideal place for children and teens to explore the forest habitat with all their senses. It offers space for them to develop freely in nature. For this reason, we offer special forest education programs for school groups as part of hiking days, field trips, or project weeks.

Together with students, after-school program participants, and preschoolers, we spend plenty of time in nature and teach them about the characteristics and unique features of the forest through play, fun, and excitement. In small groups and under the guidance of our trained outdoor instructors, children have the opportunity to explore the interconnections and secrets of nature. Teamwork and tact are essential during exploration and orientation tours as well as group-dynamic games; in the climbing garden, students have the opportunity to overcome any fears and push themselves beyond their limits.

• Lunch in the forest kitchen
• Group dynamic games based on experiential education, led by our outdoor instructors
• Free time (5,000 m² playground)

Day 2:

• Lunch, check into rooms
• High ropes course, rock climbing
• Dinner, then off to the teepee for a campfire and grilled bread on a stick
• Night hike
• Day 2:

• Arrival / Welcome and guided tour of the treetop trail
• Lunch, check-in
• Free time (5,000 m² playground)

• Departure for the campsite
• Campfire in the teepee and spooky night hike
