Exploring the forest didactically & group-dynamically

The Kopfing treetop walk in Upper Austria's Innviertel region is the ideal place for children and young people to explore the forest habitat with all their senses. It offers space to develop freely in nature. For this reason, we offer special forest education programmes for school classes as part of hiking days, school trips or project weeks.

We spend a lot of time in nature together with pupils or after-school and kindergarten children and teach them about the characteristics and special features of the forest through games, fun and excitement. In small groups and under the supervision of our trained outdoor instructors, the children have the opportunity to explore the connections and secrets of nature. Exploration and orientation tours as well as group-dynamic games require teamwork and sensitivity, while the climbing garden gives pupils the opportunity to overcome any fears and surpass themselves.

• Arrival / welcome and guided tour of the Baumkronenweg
• Lunch at Gasthof Oachkatzl
• Group dynamic games from experiential education accompanied by our outdoor trainers
• Time at leisure (5000 m2 playground)

2 days:

• 1.Day:

• Arrival / welcome and guided tour of the treetop walk
• Lunch, check into your room
• High ropes course, climbing
• Dinner, departure to the tipi tent with campfire and barbecue
• Night hike
• 2. Day:
• Breakfast
• Outdoor supervision
• Lunch
• Time at leisure / journey home

3 days:

• 1.Day:
• Arrival / welcome and guided tour of the treetop walk
• Lunch, check into room
• Time at leisure (5000 m2 playground)
• Dinner
• Departure to the campsite
• Campfire in the tipi tent and scary night hike
• 2.Day:
• Breakfast
• Outdoor supervision
