Curling on natural ice

Curling is an old folk sport and is traditionally practised with wooden sticks in the Mühlviertel. Almost every day, people "curl" on frozen natural ponds. A little schnapps to keep you warm is a must.
The sociable entertainment on the ice rink often continues with a "Bratlessen" in the pub.
The following natural pond facilities are available when temperatures are low:

The ice rinks are floodlit in the evening.
