When the forests ring - close to the red deer
When autumn arrives and the nights get longer, one of the most impressive natural spectacles in the Kalkalpen National Park begins: the rutting of the stags. At dusk, the powerful calls of the stags echo through the forests - they compete for the attention of the females and measure their strength against rival animals.Accompany National Park ranger and forester Rudi to a particularly suitable observation point and listen to the impressive sounds of the red deer.
Suitable for all fitness levels. Walking time approx. 1 hour, total duration of the tour approx. 5 hours.
Warm, weatherproof clothing required. Binoculars, seat pad and headlamp recommended.

Should something come up...
The general cancellation conditions apply in our house.
There are no cancellation costs up to 28 days before arrival. Between 21-27 days before arrival we charge 50% of the total arrangement price, between 14-20 days we charge 70%, between 7-13 days 80% and from 6 days before arrival 90% of the total booked arrangement.
The Austrian hotel regulations apply. In general, cancellations of reservations are only accepted in writing.
