On the Donauuferbahn , the same train sets always run with a bicycle capacity of 10 bicycle stands per set. Exceptions are trains 6381 (Linz from 16:08) and 6374 (Grein-Bad Kreuzen from 06:01) from Mon to Fri on weekdays, which run with a push-pull train with 7 bicycle stands in the driving trailer.
Sections of the Danube Cycle Path can be tackled by train and you can also return to the starting point of your Danube Cycle Path tour by public transport.
The Donauuferbahn railway takes you comfortably to the Danube towns on the left bank of the Strudengau or the Mühlkreisbahn railway from Linz to the Mühlviertel.
