Restricted ferry service on the Danube cycle path R1

The start of the regular season for the Kaiserhof cross-channel and longitudinal ferry has been postponed until 8 May 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Please bear this in mind – depending on your destination – when continuing your journey on the respective bank of the Danube. Crossing to the other bank of the Danube in this area is therefore only possible at the following points:

• Kobling – Obermühl ferry
• Aschach – Feldkirchen Danube bridge
