Closure Power Station Crossing Jochenstein

Due to a construction site, the cyclist and pedestrian crossing at the Danube power plant Jochenstein is TOTALLY CLOSED from January 13 to May 30, 2025!

The Haus am Strom in Jochenstein (municipality of Untergriesbach) is only accessible via the Bavarian side (north side of the Danube).

Crossing possibilities:
The next possibility to cross to the north side of the Danube is the ferry Engelhartszell-Kramesau downstream and then the Danube bridge Niederranna. Upstream on the Danube you can use the Kasten-Obernzell car ferry.
