Closure of the Danube Cycle Route R1 in the Langer Haufen area

Due to construction work on the Donaulände in the ‘Langer Haufen’ area in the municipality of Pupping, the Danube Cycle Route R1 will be closed from 9 November 2026 (weekdays: Monday to Friday).

To comply with environmental requirements, the construction machinery must operate mainly from the Treppelweg. The construction work will continue until March 2027, with a weather-related break between Christmas and mid-February.

Please follow the signposted diversion in place at the site.
