The 2026 Eferding Castle Concerts are opening their doors and, as usual, invite you to three world-class concerts this summer.
The exceptional Austrian recorder player and artistic director Michael Oman, together with his wife Martina—a harpsichordist and organist who was born in Eferding—has been curating this elegant and refined concert series since 2009.
The venue and magnificent centerpiece of the three annual concerts is the castle’s Ancestral Hall, dating from 1680, which is adorned with historical portraits of the Starhemberg family and where the concerts—featuring chamber music with a Baroque focus—are held.
Before each concert, starting at 7:00 p.m., music will be played in the enchanting atmosphere of the castle courtyard to set the mood, and the Soroptimist Club Eferding will charmingly provide refreshments.
