Mauthausen is one of the most beautiful towns on the Austrian Danube! The historic town houses, the many alleyways, the beautiful market square with its two imposing plane trees and St. Nicholas Church on the hill offer an ideal ambience for a walk through the romantic centre.
Admire the many interesting sights and listen to the stories from the past of the old Danube market.
The atmospheric tours with the night watchman are a special experience.
The town/night watchman tours last around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Town and night watchman tours are available for private groups all year round.
On request, these tours can of course also be organised as themed tours.
In the summer months, during operating hours and depending on the availability of the Ennsegg cycle ferry, the town tours can also be combined with a "mini-cruise" on the Danube (approx. 15 min).

A short "Schluckerlstopp" can also be planned and organised on request.
