The Pöstlingberg pilgrimage basilica stands high above the roofs of Linz - on the popular Pöstlingberg.
The parish church and pilgrimage basilica of the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin Mary is visible from afar at the highest point of the Pöstlingberg. Its twin towers seem to be omnipresent. The Pöstlingberg Church, completed in 1748, can be reached directly via a stairway that starts at the viewing plateau. The extraordinary location makes the landmark Pöstlingberg Church a popular wedding church.
