The Deep Space 8K opens a number of other doors to new content: Two 16 by 9 metre projections on the wall and floor, peppered with a sophisticated people locator, turn the walk-in Deep Space 8K into a unique experience space. A selection of the wide variety of programmes is presented several times a day. Visitors can expect exciting stories and immersive experiences in impressive image quality and colour brilliance from the fields of media art, science, technology, interaction and action.
The Ars Electronica Festival takes place every September in Linz and brings together artists, creatives and representatives from science, research, technology and business from all over the world to present their work and their visions of the future. Since 1979, it has provided a stage for eclectic, fascinating and surprising creative works and a unique environment for intensive discussions and inspiring encounters.
