Linz Zoo

Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich

Halfway up the Pöstlingberg, with a fabulous view of the city of Linz, more than 600 animals guarantee a fun-filled and exciting outing for the whole family.

Around 600 exotic and native animals from around 102 species captivate zoo visitors on the almost 4-hectare site.

While meerkats, zebras, red pandas, antelopes, kangaroos, parrots and many more animals cavort in the beautifully designed and well-maintained outdoor enclosures, caimans, giant snakes and monkeys enjoy their modern home in the warm tropical house.

In addition to many domestic and exotic breeds of pets and farm animals, some of which are highly endangered, you will also find a petting area with dwarf goats, an "alpine hut" with a view and a rabbit tunnel with two very special insights.
