The new hiking fun for young and old in the Zelletau!

On the Flaps Fit Trail, you will learn lots of interesting facts about the forest and its inhabitants. Do you know which track belongs to which animal? Or which leaves belong to which tree? You can test what you have learnt with various puzzles.

You can really let off steam and exercise at the 7 stations of the Flaps fitness trail. Physiotherapist Thomas Plöckinger-Schatzl has come up with some great exercises to help with back problems in particular.

You can reach Freistadt from Linz via the A7 motorway and the B310.
From Prague (CZ) you can reach Freistadt via Wullowitz on the B310.

From Freistadt you can reach the entrance to the Flapsweg on foot on the blue marked Nordwaldkammweg in 30 minutes or by car in the direction of St. Oswald on the left opposite the junction towards Gunnersdorf in 5 minutes.
