Central anchor point for culture and history

All four landing stages in Linz are centrally located along the Danube and offer ideal conditions for a relaxing shore leave. The city's most important sights - including the old town, main square, St. Mary's Cathedral, Pöstlingberg, the Brucknerhaus, the Ars Electronica Center and the Lentos Art Museum - are just a few minutes' walk or drive away.

The Linz-Schloss berth is located directly below Linz Castle, in the immediate vicinity of the Nibelungen Bridge. A bus stop and the necessary shipping infrastructure are only about 200 meters away and therefore easily accessible.

Linz Castle, visible from afar, sits impressively on a foothill of the Freinberg high above the Danube. Today it houses the Upper Austrian Provincial Museum, Austria's largest universal museum at a single location. The diverse exhibitions provide a fascinating insight into the natural, cultural and artistic history of Upper Austria - from prehistory and early history to Roman times and contemporary art.
