Excellent vantage point at 723 metres above sea level. Medieval castle square.
Former Oberblasenstein Castle (end of the 11th century until around the middle of the 13th century). Mentioned in 1183 as a county castle of the Velburg family. 1185 - 1986 numerous finds: ceram. Ceramic shards, iron, spindle whorls, kitchen waste, etc. Also prehistoric artefacts. Two so-called light bowls at the entrance. Excellent vantage point in the centre of St. Thomas am Blasenstein!No snow clearance in winter.
