The view here sweeps across an extensive meadow over the Danube valley and the gentle meanders that the river carves through the Bohemian Massif in this section. At this panoramic station, it is particularly easy to see how steeply the northern slopes, which are covered with mixed forests, fall towards the Danube. A wooden throne invites you to linger and enjoy the royal view not only over the Danube and the Mühlviertel, but also into neighbouring Germany to the left. Tip: the trout circus and the mill museum not far from this station are definitely worth a visit!
