Der Kuseng - Cabaret at the Schlot

With "Der Kuseng" one of the most exciting new voices on the Austrian cabaret scene is coming to Linz - and yes, it's going to be good.

Born in Tehran in 1989, he fled to Austria with his parents as an infant and grew up in Upper Austria - between a refugee home, Linz and normal everyday absurdities.

What began in his living room led him via classrooms and his first open mics to his first real stage in 2023. Since then: FM4, Kultursommer Wien and a cabaret debut ("Hoamatlond, Hoamatlond"), which was not only sold out but also garnered standing ovations.

Kuseng tells stories of origin, identity and life in between - personal, pointed and with just the right amount of humor and sharpness.

An evening to laugh, think and briefly check out how absurd everything is anyway.
