Bluatschink plays Blasschink: Margit & Toni Knittel come to the Meierhof in Klam with a big band.
When songs such as "Funka fliaga" or "I han di gera" conquered the charts in the Alps in the mid-nineties, everyone was surprised at the dialect, which many people simply could not clearly assign to Tyrol, Bavaria or Vorarlberg.
But whether you can understand every word or not, the melodies are catchy tunes that you can't get out of your ears. The singer-songwriter duo Margit & Toni Knittel can be experienced from time to time in a small two-man line-up - just two voices and two guitars. No more - but also no less!
But when it's "BLUATSCHINK plays BLASSCHINK" - then the couple from the Lech Valley have brought in reinforcements. A multi-headed troupe takes to the stage and proves that the Bluatschink songs are also perfect for this variation. Depending on the line-up, there are up to 10 musicians at work and you can be sure that the songs will blow through the country's concert halls like a fresh, exuberant mountain breeze.
And what has always been usual with Bluatschink:
The audience sings along after just a few bars!
Dialect or not - there's simply no stopping them!
The arrangements of the songs are familiar from the radio with a full line-up: the Austropop sound with electric guitar, drums, bass and keyboard is now joined by top musicians from the brass band sector. And the musical director of this line-up is Johannes Bär - whom everyone in the whole country still knows from the HMBC.
