FrischLuft Openair 2026. 23 2/3 years anniversary tour 2026.
"So let it rip!" That's the motto of Grossstadtgeflüster, after all, you don't turn 23 2/3 years old every day. So it's only logical that the German combo goes on a big and, above all, loud anniversary tour.Grossstadtgeflüster no longer refer to themselves as a band, but as an aggregate state. For over two decades, they have been moving between rave and radical realism - with a Berlin snout and yet a loving eye for the offbeat. After seven studio albums and hundreds of concerts, there is something to celebrate in 2026: the trio, consisting of Jen Bender (vocals), Raphael Schalz (synths) and Chriz Falk (drums), have already delighted the world with a debauched canon of escapist resistance: catchy tunes like "Ich muss gar nix", "Fickt-Euch-Allee" and most recently "Ich kündige" - declarations of independence that reside indecently in our ear canals. There's always a bit of rave in there, a bit of pop, a bit of punk, a bit of hip-hop, garnished with stylistic ricochets and U-turns, a lot of synths and a latent tendency towards eccentricity. The anthems of Grossstadtgeflüster are dancing declarations of independence, head-nodding liberations from social or self-made pressure of expectation, ping-ponging between megalomania and failure. But they never point the finger at others, let alone kick them down.
However, their music is always worth listening to, feeling and singing along to: many millions of Spotify clicks, almost 70 million YouTube views and sold-out halls speak for themselves. The world remains complicated, Grossstadtgeflüster are here to stay: if you want to join in the celebrations, come and join in the dancing and collective singing when the anniversary tour takes place next year. Jen, Raphael and Chriz are waiting for you, because it's going to be big!
